Leads were coming in from many different sources: the website, social media, emails, phone calls, the backs of napkins. We wanted to serve our customers as best as we could, but we didn't have a system to do it. So we considered buying a CRM solution that anyone could buy or building our own to give ourselves a competitive advantage and saving over $180k per year in SaaS licensing fees. We built our own and called it the Toolbox.
